A native of Goldsboro, Dr. Potts graduated from Goldsboro High School before earning his Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina State University. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Following dental school, he completed his specialized orthodontic training at the prestigious Vanderbilt University Medical Center, an achievement that provided him with expertise in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.
